Wosoxam rules 1. the game is played over 3 periods of 7 minutes ea. 2. the clock only stops of the ball goes out of bounds or some one calls timeout( 1 per period per team) someone scores a fumble has happened and recovered by opposing team. 3. a team must have 6 players on the field but may feild 7 if they can. 4. each team may have no more then 14 players total on thier team roster. 5. each team gets 5 downs to score, a down is when play stops becuase the ball carrier got tackled. if they dont score the other side takes the ball. 6. to pass the ball in this game you MUST lateral the ball BEHIND YOU, forward passing is not allowed EXCEPT in the 3 foot "throw rings" for scoring purposes. 7. there are 3 ways to score in Woso: a) carry the ball into the end zone (1 pt) b) FORWARD pass the ball thru the goal post ring from one of the 2 throw rings on the field (2 pts) c) drop kick the ball from anywhere on the opposing teams side of the field thru the goal post ring (3 pts) 8. players must wear protective gear at all times I.E...knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, skull cap 1 shoulder pad(dominate side). each player must have correct team numbers on his shirt front and back. 9. after your team scores the opposing teams starts with the ball on thier 5 yard line. 10. teams shall consist of 1 point guard(leader) 1 sweeper(defender) and the rest are backs(players). backs provide both defensive and offensive support roles during a game. there is also a lobber position during the start of a down. 11. you may not lateral the ball if your in someones "grasp" but you can lateral the ball just before your tackled. 12. a fumble is when a player is tackled and drops the ball, or a player is lateraling the ball and its failed to be caught by his teammate, or while a player is running he just loses control of the ball and drops it.
